Applicants that live out of state, may use FIRM Systems Ink Fingerprint Card Scanning Service to complete the background check requirements for licensing. This service uses advanced scanning technology to convert your ink fingerprint cards into an electronic format. The electronic record can then be sent to the Illinois State Police & Federal Bureau of Investigation.

· Obtain an ink fingerprint card. This service can often be done at your local police station or sheriff's office.
